this was from earlier last week. (made in China... ) unagi over rice, my attempt at pseudo goma-ae, miso soup w/ dried bonito)

more to follow...

i encourage pix of food... so post up yours... even if it's 3 day old White Castle.

That's pretty good. I personally like more of the unagi sauce on top with some sansho pepper powder (has a real herbal smell).

Tony if you want some GOOOOOD sam gyup sal, you really gotta head up to Mundelein man. Some of the best Ive ever had. Marinated in a wine sauce and herbs.
