Parking lot and frontage roads were ugly. Freeway was kinda sloppy. I was so disappointed in the LACK of snow, I went out of my way to drive on UNPLOWED roads!

But on the other side of things, over half my car was covered in a 1/16" thick solid sheet of ice.

 

Kicked winter's arse this morning. Saw some good spinouts on I-75 on my way to and from Flint, but I was safe!

 

Drove up north Sat night. Last 50 miles was black ice. Was going about 30mph. Didnt spin out or anything, just a couple of white knuckle moments.

1 more for us, the Merc did pretty well on the way home today, the plow trucks haven't been out all day around here.

Car does not start off as well as AWD, but it certainly turns and stops w/o any drama at all, so I'm pretty happy...so far.

 

I did some snow destroying, but theres only like an inch or two out by me maybe 3 in some areas... I hear the city is a mess.

idiot parts b*tch at work doesn't know how to plow the lot. he left a snow bank about 6 inches high in front of ALL the cars on one side of the lot and my S was one of them. i just backed up to get some running speed and rammed through the pile of snow just like in those truck comercials.
when i got home the entire air opening for the radiator was packed with snow.
