GO KOREA! haha. I just picked up an HDTV, can't wait to watch in hi def. =)
It is absolutly stunning in HD!! ENJOY!! I picked mine up this past December and loving the WC on it.

Korea is strong but no match for The "samba soccer allstars." But good luck to all those supporting them the korean fans have a lot of pride in there team and its nice to see that.

Oh and there is a bar here in chicago, well theres a lot but my fav. Is the GINGER ALE HOUSE on ashland. Amazing atmosphere open for every game no matter what time it starts.
i live like barely a block away from there. i left the country before the WC started though...so i haven't seen any games there yet. i remember seeing the sign that they were the best place to watch soccer in chicago or something.

F1... I don't know. There's too much elitism about it. I'm sorry, but I've been to F1 races, watch F1 races on TV, and compared to NASCAR the product just isn't as appealing. I know a lot of NASCAR's qualities (parity/frequent passing) are artificial (i.e. due to frequent/excessive full course cautions), but F1 could learn a lot from NASCAR if they really want an appealing product.

It still blows my mind that every time a revised rulebook comes out for F1, it further increases the role aerodynamic grip (which makes passing hard) plays. The one tire rule last year was way beyond stupid. FIA, Bernie, and Max just don't get it some times. Bernie is too worried about lining his pockets to really improve the sport (much like George Hulman is/was with IRL).
Please dont go there. I think it was Juan Pablo Montoya that said it best on his interview with Letterman. "Have you ever driven a pickup truck, and then a ferrari, well thats the difference between nascar and f1." But I agree Mosely and Bernie are both assholes, but that doesnt take away from the shear excitement of seeing a machine do the things that it does out on the tracks. So you goin to indy this year or what? Redneck.

I'm a huge dork, so I love the technology and innovation of F1. But the on-track product just isn't very good at times - though this year has been quite good compared to the past 3 or 4.

I've been to Indy 3 times, it's cool but not really worth it.
