Next to the service hold to replace the bulb is the housing tab. You don't need to mess with it.

This is the tab you need to push. There is a bump on the other side of the housing that help to align the button but you do not need to squeeze it. Well pushing the button out, it helps to angle it slightly towards the door.

You'll have to contort yourself to get a good view but the goal to the squeeze the metal, gold-ish colored table on the side of the button. You can see it just peeking out from the fascia. You can either squeeze it hard or put a thin plastic tool into the tab. It is the only thing keeping the Start button connected to the dash.
