Easy way to spot differences. DTO is the aftermarket manufacturer. OEM as drains towards each end. I removed the metal bracket from the OEM one as I will be installing it with adhesive.

This also extends to the rear edge.

Slight cosmetic differences. The bottom is OEM, top is aftermarket. The lines are sharper on the aftermarket. The angles are also more pointier.

Left is OEM, right is eBay. The aftermarket spoiler has a deeper yellow. The OEM is some green undertones and is paler.

Today, painted the cool silver bits with some Plasti-dip I had. Blends better with the all black interior.

This is what the rearview camera looks like on the Power Acoustiks CP71W. I mainly use it to make sure I'm far in enough to the garage.

...the bronze is a shade off but matches the anodization on the outer rim better than the powder coated spokes; looks pretty good to me.

Now the decision is which center cap to go with. Both are from AliExpress. The black matches the lug nuts...

For no fender adjustment, the wheels poke out enough. Stock suspension, about 3 finger gap. The Indy 500's seem to run narrow.

April was new tire month. The forums was helpful in deciding how thick to run my tires. Went with Firehawks for a simple summer tire. America's Tire price matched to Costco and added on a better warranty.

VHT paint is hard to work with on edges but at leas the lettering came out decent.

The spark plug cover had some oxidation that I wanted to sand off. The masking tape ended up pulling off some black paint so I ended up re-doing it.

I decided to pain the nooks with a contrasting color (black). Peeled the flaky pain, and masked off the good red paint.

The Honda wrinkle red is legendary but I already saw some peeling around the PCV valve and vacuum line. I thought about powdercoating but couldn't find a shop I trusted. Thought about DIY but the red is original only once.

Clean and tidy engine bay. Adjusting valves is a pain. Most weren't too out of spec. Adjusted them a bit towards the looser side of things as they will tighten the more I drive. Checked for cracked retainers/sunken keepers.

Decided to change out the spark plugs. They looked fine, Cylinder 4 maybe a bit more moist? I was going to change out the gaskets anyways. Went with NGK's.
