Laguna Blue Pearl AP2 Is Looking for a New Home

Lately, we've featured a ton of low-mile S2000 examples, but there are obviously some on the market that have been driven. That includes this well-traveled and quite attractive Laguna Blue Pearl AP2, which is currently up for sale in the S2Ki Marketplace. With 80,000 miles on the clock, it isn't exactly worn out, but the seller has driven it quite a bit over their 11 years with the car.

Sunny Life

The seller is the second owner of this S2000 and purchased it back in 2010 when it was showing 21k miles on the odometer. It has lived its entire life in the state of California and remains in solid condition with all VIN tags present. Despite its mileage, the seller says the AP2 has never been driven in rain or snow and has spent most of its time on the highway.

Smooth Runner

Thanks to living in a garage and being treated to proper maintenance, the LBP AP2 reportedly runs as well as it looks. There are no leaks or other mechanical issues to report, and both the clutch engagement and shifter operate smoothly as one might expect.

Minor Blemishes

Even the interior is extra clean in appearance, with just the typical wear one might expect to see in an 80k-mile car. Otherwise, there are a few blemishes including the standard rock chips on the front bumper and a small rub inside the soft top, which is in otherwise great shape mostly because it has rarely been used.

The seller is removing the aftermarket parts seen in the photos and replacing them with the OEM goodies before selling the car, however, though that may not be a bad thing depending on how the buyer feels. The AP2 rolls on a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE11A tires that have lots of tread left but are getting a bit old, so they'll probably need to be replaced.

Attracting Interest

The seller has unsurprisingly received some interest in the car and even had a sale pending, but it, unfortunately, fell through.
