What a wonderful tribute to a great guy. Hard to think many of us saw him just last May at SF. Sad, sad, sad. It is ironic that Granny and I were talking about him yesterday at lunch and hoping he was doing OK.

Sad, sad news! We're going to miss you Maury, there are just not enough happy, friendly, genuinly kind people to go around.

This picture was taken during a drive which I led last year along with a group from Cars & Coffee. Maury was my navigator & he asked if we could have the top down even though it was a brisk mid October morning. While zipping thru the Western PA countryside, he looked up at the blue sky & said "I love these drives, it doesn't get any better than this." Great memory & he was correct, I doubt they will ever get any better than that!

This is from the rest stop where we met up on the way to SF 12

I really can't add anything to what has already been said, except to say we lost a great man and I will miss him. I was privileged to know him and I will always remember him being in my drive group at SF12. RIP, Maury.

Hannibal, please let us know of his funeral arrangements so that we can pay our respects to him and his memory.

Maury, your life was too short. Rick and I will miss you dearly.

I called Maury last week. I told Rick that Maury seemed to have a hard time talking. I feared that soon I would see this thread and my heart just sank when I signed on to the forum tonight.

Maury was one of the good guys. Always a smile, always a positive attitude, a caring, kind, human being. He was a gem. I'm not sure at which meet we met Maury. It may have been the fall meet in Gettysburg, home of the "kissing couch" and laughter until we cried.

Our deepest sympathy to Beth and his entire family.

What a beautiful story. Thank you for posting that.

It is so sad to think his smiling face won't be on drives anymore. I'm glad I was in the same group as him at Spring Fling and got to drive with him at Seven Springs.

My prayers are for Beth.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I did not know Maury, but it is obvious from all of your posts that he touched many lives and you all have lost someone who was a good friend to you. May peace come to you during this time of pain.
