The Reptile Run 2014 - Hotel Information Added!
Last year we did the Double Dragon, hitting both Dragons, but we happened to find a snake (Rt 421) between the Dragons. So, for RtD2104, we are adding The Snake Rt. 421 to the mix. The Double Dragon becomes the Reptile Run 2014. Some people will be arriving at the General Francis Marion Hotel on Saturday, April 5th, 2014 in Marion, Va. We will all leave Tuesday, April 8th, 2014 headed to Fontana Village. Sunday and Monday will be the days to check out the local roads and enjoy the time together in Virginia. Let me know who is in for The Reptile Run 2014. Of course I will do a t-shirt design for this pre-dragon event. Cost will be divided by the number of shirts ordered. Participants only for the t-shirt. Sorry about that people. BD rules. I will take t-shirts orders as we get closer to the date. 
(Ken here. The special Reptile Run, General Francis Marion rate is $84 a night. That rate is good from Saturday through Wednesday. There will be a fixed price dinner on Monday night ($25 a person), and there will also be a drive on Rt 16 south for Monday which will be different from the Back of the Dragon run)

Now the Double Dragon will become the Reptile Run 2014. I am sure that Ken our fearless leader will get us the same rates at the General Marion Francis Hotel. Block of 10 rooms at General Francis Marion Hotel @ $84 a night (same rate once again). The block is good from April 5th to the 8th. You can reserve your room anytime you're ready. Just tell the person who answers the phone that you should get the Ken $84 a night rate. Dinner Monday night, details to come but April will be taking care of us once again.
