Default How do you remove the tonneau cover

Hi everybody. I want to remove my tonneau cover and give it a proper wash. Anyone have a step by step?

Thanks in advance.

I have only ever done it once, and from my memory I used a flat head screw driver wrapped in a towel to pry the little cover off at the rear of the cover. Then undo the one bolt. I believe the rest of the cover just snaps into place so you just have to carefully lift up and unsnap the cover from the frame. I did it once three years ago and it only took a few minutes. Good luck!

There's a bolt under the middle cover, then two additional bolts on either side. There are maybe 2-3 clips on either side around the back of the tonneau as well, you should be able to lightly pry up on it and pop it off.

Here's a couple pics of what you're working with on the bolt cover in the center.

From the center of the edge towards the front of the car, you need to pry back and lift up. Once the front edge is free, the back slides forward and out.

Thanks everyone! The pics were great so I can see how to gently maneuver it off with a pry tool.
