For those of you wanting to take it easy on your day of arrival, I'll be organizing for a group of us to have dinner together at the Montview Restaurant on Thursday evening. The Montview is Fontana's upscale restaurant with very good food, a full bar, and beautiful views of the surrounding hills. We will gather in the hall outside the restaurant at about 6:00, and try to get seated by 6:30. If you will be arriving too late to make that time, don't worry and just meet us inside when you can!

As they are typically not staffed for large groups on weekdays this early in the season, I do ask that you RSVP here so I can let them know how many of us to expect, and they can staff accordingly. Last time I did this, we had about 6 people RSVP, and 20+ showed up. Let's try and do a little better this time!

Here is their latest dinner menu, though it will likely change by April. I had the mussels & broiled rainbow trout last time, and both were of excellent preparation and very delicious.
