Different hotel, different dates:

Date: May 29 - 31 No Momma's day, no Memorial Day, just the beginning of the tourist season.
Rate: $125/night
Location: Lake George, New York
I'll have more information tomorrow but this is the best offer I've received yet (out of 32 requests for hotel/meeting space/dinners/receptions/rooms/amenities)

Thoughts? Complaints? Suggestions? Compliments?

Is this where we had S2K Days in 2008? If so, it should be fine. I've never been disappointed in a Hampton Inn.

Yep. Same place. Hotel is really nice, lots of dining options, great roads, things to do.

So sounds like Mahwah might be the better choice a little later in the year. Whatever/whenever, I'm in to lead a "Spirited" group drive, as long as Lainey & Rick tailguns!

Ease up there, big boy. We have to pick a site and there wasn't a groundswell of support for Mahwah like there was for Lake George. The last time I was there was just before the season started and that was just before Memorial day and there was no snow and it was warm (almost hot, actually). That's why this is here, because I want peoples input. Drives can come later, right now the important thing is where, not what.
