Default Suspension what to do?

What's up guys. Finally ended up finding an S that was clean enough for me. Cars bone stock fenders quarters not rolled nothing. Looking to do a little bit of a drop so I can get a nice set of wheels for it soon. Was wondering if I should go for a good set of spring or just go right into a set of coilovers. No experience with this so any advice would help out. Car is mostly used for weekend driving. No track use

Unless you are going to a big wheel setup, don't get coilovers.

Get an Eibach spring kit, trust me on this one.

I don't mean rim diameter, I mean tire width.

Yeah not looking to go crazy with it just a nice look. Keeping it simple. Just not fully stock. Feel like it need a slight drop and plus don't want to roll fenders on it if I don't have to

I would invest in coilovers. I had espelir asd springs on oem shocks and it felt too floaty. I would def change to Koni shocks if you get lowering springs. Billman mentioned eibachs, I don't know how they ride on an s2000. But On my eclipse I ran eibach sport line springs and kyb agx shocks and the ride was too rough. But since you are spending money on all 4 shocks and springs then you might as well spend a bit more for coilovers. I have kwv2 and love the ride. It doesn't feel like I'm sitting on a train breaking my neck on every bump. I will go with pss9 or kW for a more comfortable ride. I had buddy club n+ coilovers on my previous s2000 it the ride was too harsh for city driving. I guess your best bet is to sit in someone's car with the set up you want so you can feel it and then decide.

If you just want a bit of a drop and you're not gonna track it, I would just get a set of quality springs. Either Eibachs or Swifts. Both ride great and are track capable but the Swifts are supposedly better.

Eibach ProKit Springs all day. Ive used them on all 3 of my s2ks. There are a set of Koni Yellow shocks for sale in the Metro FS thread as well. Its a killer setup!
