GAS DOOR?!

Default GAS DOOR?!

hey guys i feel like a complete idiot, but i just bought my s2000 a few days ago and i dont have an owners manual for it, and i need to get gas... went to the gas station to fill up for the first time and couldnt figure out for the life of me how to open the gas cap door?!

its an AP1 if it makes a difference... i need to get gas before 7:30 tomorrow morning so someone please help... wow... im pathetic.

sit in your seat, look down over your left shoulder, theres this little black knob. pull it

open the drivers side door.. in the doorway/panel, there is a little knob in a cut out groove.. pull on the knob and the gas door should pop right open.

Dude don't pull that lever..thats the ejection seat lever.

$10 says the manual is in the secret compartment.

hahah luckily when i got my ap2 off the dealership, my salesman owned wasnt completely ignorant. he owned an NFR ap2 just like mine... but his is 05, so he taught me where the levers/releases and compartments were

also, is there any other storage than just the vertical glovebox in between the seats?

Haha, yes...there's a compartment on top of the vertical flipdown compartment. I shouldn't make this so easy on you...took me 3 months before I found out. I found out from this website.

And yeah...pull the seat ejection tab next to your driverside door sill and seat. After you fly 30ft in the air...your gas cap will open up. Hehe...congrats on the purchase. Enjoy it, and don't be a victim of that nasty snap oversteer!.

haha... i didnt kno about my secret compartment till i was doing a search for prox. sensors. and found a pic for it...

and all that time i was wondering... damn... this car doesnt have any compartment space....
