Default Greddy TiC 70mm single..* more dyno charts*

I posted this in the AZ section, but thought I would share with everyone..............

"So I stayed late last night and dyno'ed my car to see how the new exhaust did......I was pleasently surprised!

I replaced the Invidia dual set up with Greddy's 70mm single exit TiC exhaust

Car was purchased with the folling mods:

AEM V1 CAI
Invidia V3 dual<<<<<< replaced by the above mentioned Greddy
stock cat
ARP rod bolts
AP2 trans
valve springs and retainers (unknown mfg)

here are the results

first up 3 runs with the silencer in.....first 2 were with the hood closed and no fan...last one (purple) was with hood open and fan on

next up....removed the silencer...both runs with the hood open and fan on..back to back runs no cooling off

a comparison of silenced vs. unsilenced

here is the shocker........I pulled the dyno file from when the car was tuned by UMS with an VAFCII which did not come on the car when I bought it.....

only differeence is the exhaust and not having the VAFCII anymore.....same dyno

with silencer

without silencer

thats right..... I make more power everywhere with the TiC un silenced.......without being tuned.....

temp difference was 10 degrees cooler for the current #'s

here are some dynojet style graphs

as requested here are the comparisons Invidia dual before VAFCII tune vs Greddy TiC 70mm single

same car and same dyno...different days..but temprature was within 10 degrees

Greddy with silencer

Greddy without silencer

Nice. I was curious to see what the silencer did in regards to power reduction.

so wat was the difference with the single vs dual?

i cant imagine alot of gain ... if its 2-3 rwhp then... imo not worth it, i luv the loook of dual vs single on this car.

I have the cat currently installed with just the single for mods. Its pretty loud without the silencer, almost annoying loud. With the silencer installed it sounds really good, imo. The exhaust gets quieter when you reach higher rpms as well. Its only really loud at low rpm cruising speeds.

I'm planning on turbo in the future, so once my car is boosted, the car should be quiet without the silencer.

Numbers seem low for a Dynapack.

I'm at work and can't see the dyno charts, can someone please give me a rundown of the gains compared to the invidia untuned. Thanks! I've been waiting for someone to dyno this
