Default Nagisa or Buddy Club rails with Recaro PP

Please give me some feed back of this setup. From what I saw Nagisa list application for AP1, I'm looking to put this in AP2 (2005), will it fit?

AP1 and AP2 use the same rails.

If your AP2 is over 05 then your airbags won't work, I think a 1.9ohm resistor will fix that if you plug that in. (don't know just read somewhere)

Nagisa are apparently the lowest even lower than the Buddy Club Race Spec (low) rails. I would just use the BC ones because they are cheaper and do the job...but if you are tall like 6"2 Nagisa would be the go. The BC are just a tad bit lower than stock. and Nagisa about 1-2" lower than the BC.

The PP's will have slight rub on the door and glove box lid. I think I saw someone even cut away at some of the interior trim.

SP-G in XL rub too.

Very insightful, thank you. I am 6'3" so sounds like I should get the nagisa. I'm trying to keep it on a budget so am looking at the PP. I actually like the simple look of the pp. I guess my other choice is go with BC rails and limited edition seat (wide). So what you are saying is 05 and up airbag won't work with any aftermarket seat?

Here is a pic I found of BC vs Nagisa. (left vs right). Nagisa is drivers side to show the difference in height.

Shit your pretty tall man, check out the seat thread in galleries. Around page 20 theres a few guys running pole positions, but I don't think any are as tall as you cause the seat seems pretty set forward.

There's a running debate on their whether or not BC or Nagisa are lower but that pic up there really shows the difference.

Yeah theres a plug underneath the seat to detect weight on the seat. I'm not sure how you get around this because I got an 01.

Thanks for the info. My brother had a 06 that I drive some times and it is a very tight fit. I had to move my left foot off the dead peddle to clear the steering when I make a turn. I was about to buy a 05 but by the time I email the dealership it was sold. I might just look for a different car all together. I had a 06 miata before and that fits me fairly well.

i have the nagisa rails like the ones shown above. if i could do it over again, i would get their newer ones that do not have the adjustment arm sticking out on the side. the newer ones also lock on both sides. with my cobra suzuka (wide base), the adjuster arm rubs pretty hard against the frame.

there are reports of the buddy club's rail welds breaking off.

although these ones do not look the the exact ones for an s2000, well my model year.

also, are you long legged or have a long torso or...? here are the dimensions of the pole position.
