The caliper on the DC5 (type-S) is near-identical to the S2k one, as is the rotor thickness. The caliper will bolt to the knuckle, tho the rotor's offset may or may not work. Also, you're gonna need wider than stock wheels up front.

i have 17" oem wheels not sure about the offset, i also have the hubs from the dc5, would that make it easier to bolt on?

S2000s have significantly less rotor offset than DC5s. The 'How to put X brakes on your 96 Civic' table that floated around a few years ago detailed the critical rotor dimensions.

Yeah, its about 40mm for the S2k rotor, and 47mm tall for an RSX rotor. The S2k is a shorter rotor, fitting "normal" height honda rotors onto the S2k requires lots of modification, and to use it on the DC5R caliper is impossible. You'd be better off using an NSX front disc and getting wheel and rotor spacers. For the cost and all, you're in total better off getting the RL brake upgrade.

good info there. so the brembo caliper will fit as long as i use nsx discs with a spacer on it, and a wheel spacer. Is there any other fabrication or does the disk and spacers and the caliper just bolt on?

RL kit is very interesting it might be difficult trying to get that kit imported to UK unless you know someone that can help? i saw something about the kit on honda-tech and all that was required was a mounting bracket to fit. I would be very interested if you know somewhere that will send it to UK.

track days over here have finished now so i might be interested next year about the bolt on RL set up. Can you tell me what is included in the kit (brand and model of discs, pads hoses etc...), and also what colours the calipers are available in. thanks

This looks odd, but my first response was off, was the title changed? The RSX Type-S caliper is near identical to the S2000 caliper, the DC5 BREMBO caliper is different. The RSX rotor cannot fit the S2k because the S2k's centerbore is larger, the rotor would have to be bored out. The RSX hub also I do not know if it can fit in the S2000's bearing.

I host the "Brake Chart page" on other forums, yeah.

The front RL caliper upgrade is go, as for a rear upgrade, nothing yet, bit I will continue forth, I have reasons to make different adapters, I'll see what spins off.
