Through our own sponsorship from Quaife on the current S2000 Time Attack build we are undergoing, we are able to offer the same gearbox we are having built to S2Ki members at a discounted rate:

Normal price £7270+VAT.

S2Ki discount 15%

S2Ki price £6179+VAT

Info from Quaife about this box -

By utilising the very latest dog engagement tooth profiles for the QBE69G, It has resulted in a six speed sequential unit which allows ultra rapid gear changes and not only offers users a choice of gear lever locations, but also the option to upgrade to a state of the art closed loop, pneumatically operated semi automatic paddle shift system.

The result of this careful design work is a competitively priced new gearbox which is rated to power outputs of over 750bhp and features an integral oil pump to ensure adequate lubrication during long distance racing events. Quaife’s popular digital gear position indicator is also directly compatible with the new QBE69G, and is available as an optional extra.

In 2008 Quaife’s technicians identified a market opportunity for an upscaled version of Quaife Engineering's successful QBE60G inline six speed sequential gearbox, which would be designed to suit higher torque and power output motorsport requirements.

Incorporating the lessons learnt on the popular QBE60G unit, the new QBE69G utilises 90mm shaft centres and larger gears to maximise strength, with a well proven modular six speed gear cluster layout.

For the semi-automatic paddle-shift version, is the clutch actuation automated?

If so, what cost does this add to the gearbox?

I'll take one if you sort engine mounts to fit it. From what ive seen they need to be fabbed up custon so that the shifter sits in its natural position? Check out Andrew Wojteczko's build...

Do you have a link to that thread please? Sure its possible and within capabilities, but would be interested to read more about it first and see what the issue is first.

they must've completely changed the internals on this model, as the first generation was only rated to 550bhp

I'd need a lot more power to justify it, Dan!
