Default Moton verge of bankruptcy

But was bought by AST. Will be interesting to see what developments come from this.

Very very interesting. Hopefully this is good news and great things will come out of the two companies!

Didn't AST branch out from Moton?

I thought it was Koni - JRZ - Moton? If you're right about AST then it would be Koni - JRZ - Moton - AST

Jan Zuijdijk used to work for Koni. Together with Jeroen Van Gool and Rob deRijk founded JRZ. Jeroen Van Gool went to found Moton, and Rob deRijk went to found Protrac. Rob deRijk went back to JRZ and consolidate Protrac. Not sure about AST.

It was JRZ and Moton that branched out from each other.

But wow, I've been looking at AST 4100s/5100s for my CO upgrade (about a year down the road). I saw the Moton setups and felt they were just slightly out of my range. We'll see in a year's time though. hehe.

Are my Motons even more valuable now? I've developed a good appreciation for AST dampers, I am interested in seeing where they go from here.

That's very cool and a huge plus to existing Moton customers
