Football season is just around the corner. I am proud to present the sixth annual Arizona/SoCal Fantasy Football League! Those who joined the competition last year know how competitive and exciting it was each week. This year will be no different.

For those interested, I have started a league on Yahoo titled "Arizona/SoCal Sixth Annual". The only thing you need to join is a Yahoo login. It only takes a minute to register and it doesn't ask any super secret information. Yes, it is free.

Rules have been adjusted from standard settings to make the game even MORE competitive. You now have defensive players along with additional offensive players! Check out the points distribution once you join. Last year this system worked perfectly and was a hit. This year, some tweaks have been made to make the league even more competitive.

Last year I had a surplus of people who wanted to join. This is an advanced league, requiring a high level of Football knowledge to excel.

There were a total of 460 player moves over the course of the 2010 season!!!



The live online draft will take place Sunday, September 4th at 7:30pm MST. This means that everyone who is interested in joining must be registered by that date. (If this time does not work for everyone it can be changed.)

**This will be a fair game with no single person holding more than one team. Please read the commissioner's note after signing up. It would be helpful if you used your S2ki name as your team name. That way others can recognize who is who. As always, if you have any questions send me a private message.

Changes from last year:
- 1 of the QB positions is now a Q/W/R/T roster spot
- Defensive roster positions have been reverted as they were in 2009, 2 D, 2 DB, and 2DL positions
- Numerous scoring changes (See post below)

Changes to this year's scoring are bolded, actual changes in parentheses. Most of the changes were slight. All other league rules have remained the same.

If you are new to the league please look over all scoring and rules as they are different from Yahoo standard settings. Do not be intimidated, everything is calculated automatically. You can see free live scoring during the games by opening the Yahoo StatTracker window.

Passing Touchdown = 6 Points
Interception = -3 Points
Pick Six Thrown = -3 Points
Passing Yards - 25 Yards = 1 Point (-25 Yards)

Rushing Touchdowns - 6 Points
Rushing Yards - 10 Yards = 1 Point
40+ Yard Rushing Attempt = 2 Points (New Category)
40+ Yard Rushing Touchdown = 2 Points (New Category)

Reception Touchdown = 6 Points

I joined 4 leagues already. Each one involves $$ I love Fantasy Football but tend to slack off when I know there isn't anything on the line. I'll end up starting all of the Raiders starting lineup I trust my team! Can we make it winner gets a phone charger or something worth playing for?
