Default Timing Cover Turbo Oil Return

Just thought I would share some pics of my oil return going to the timing cover. Really didn't want to tap the girdle with the engine in the car because it sounded like a pain. Pics aren't the best but you get the idea. You can see in the second and third pics there is a divider seperating the oil drain from the timing chain. Looked like the perfect spot to me

So far no problems? I might just have to do this instead of the girdle...

OHMY

This is just what I wanted to see!

I have turbo'd plenty of Hondas in my day and have always just used the pan, never liked doing so but the pan is easy enough to remove and revert to 100% stock which is a key concern in building my S2000, sure, if the girdle is tapped you can plug it but tapping the girdle is 100% all in, no turning back unless you want to replace the whole bottom end!

subscribed to this, how has it been working out for you?

OP, care to elaborate a bit more with things like how long you have run the car with this drain setup ect?

Anyone else running this?

I ran this with my Greddy kit without any problems and will be using it on my new setup too. This is pretty much the same as tapping the girdle except it is completely reversible.

that is exactly why I have been so weary to tap my girdle, what a PITA to do with the engine in the car #1 and even more of a pain to revert to 100% stock

how long did you run this with the greddy kit? Was this something you decided to try or saw elsewhere? with How easy the timing cover is to get too and all the dudes with sidewinders with the snails sitting right out in that area, seems like this would be an excellent solution/option to go with for those who don't want to tap girdle.
