Default My worst S2000 fear

Well my (and I'm sure a lot of yours) biggest fear came true last night. Was headed home with my dog from my parents last night about 7pm. Came to a stop for about 5-6 seconds and then got slammed from the back into the car that was a full car ahead of me. Obviously, dog got the piss scared out of her (literally), and managed to pull over into a parking lot right there to assess damages. As you can see, it is most likely totaled.

From what I can tell the top does not appear to be messed up. The only thing I can see is one of the mounting bolt holes on the back half appears to be enlarged, but I am not 100%.

Now the important part. If it is totaled I will be in the market for another S2000. I want an AP1 for sure, and would like it to be under 80k miles (but that is negotiable.) I really DO NOT want a Sebring, Suzuka, or Rio colored one though.

I'm glad you and your dog are okay. Did you have it in a seatbelt? I can't imagine it not getting hurt in the car, but I'm glad it didn't.

What did the other drive and the cops say?

Yeah I went to the ER after to make sure there was not anything major wrong at the time because I hit my head pretty hard on the seat and my neck was already stiff and sore. Back starting hurting today.

Ouch. That's sucks, but glad that you and your dog are ok.

Oh yeah, RIO is an AP2 color.

If it is totaled, good luck in your search.
