Default Elm 327 OBD2 / EOBD? reader

I apologise if this has been raised before, but Im a little confused. I have read that the facelift version used EOBD not OBD2. My S2K is a facelift 2004 model.

I would also like to use it on my CRV 2.2 Diesel.

I have a working copy of proscan 5.9. Neither vehicle has thrown any error codes, just fancied seeing what was going on.

I was looking at getting one of these ELM 327, so I could also use it with the Torque android App.

Has anyone successfully used this on a facelift model.

Thanks in advance.

I'm sure I have used mine on a facelift model at some point. Been on loads of other cars without issue.

The facelift uses a variant of one of the OBD specs (EOBD II I think), like most manufactures standards, it's not standard, if in doubt go to the manufactures site for the reader and e-mail them.

Hi

I really don't know much about this other than I have an '08 drive by wire and I bought this and it works with alaprecorder.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120758010842

It shows me throttle position, speed, revs etc in the app. The app supports MAF, intake pressure and engine load but I'm not getting a reading through for those.

Hopefully that helps.
