Dipstick Problem

Default Dipstick Problem

I went to check my oil and one side of the dip stick was reading much higher then the other. It doesnt seem to be bent or anything and i checked it on level ground. does anyone have this issue or can explain this to me?

normal, just check both sides every time...

One side is saying that its below low and the other is saying its above high. ive had a friend that said to go by the lower one but then again i dont want to over fill it

go by the lower one. The higher one hits something when you pull it out. I forget what it is exactly. billman told me this awhile back
