Dunno why but I decided to break with tradition and actually check the oil level on my car this morning even tho the car had been serviced about 1.5k ago, and low and behold the level was below the low mark!!!!!!! I was a full one litre down!!!

Glad I took a peek now!

1l per 1k miles is not uncommon on older cars.
