Cross Member/Frame Covers (polished or brushed steel finish)
Condition: New
Price:
UK - £43 delivered 1st Class (NI & Highlands price may differ)
EU - pm me to confirm price
USA - pm me to confirm price
Postage receipts are provided with every purchase.
On getting these made for me I'm now making them so that other members can get their hands on them.
These come in two finishes, brushed steel and polished steel (images below).
The steel cover itself is 1.2mm thick Grade 304 stainless steel weighing roughly 400grams
The cover is bonded onto the frame using Sikaflex 221 (this is what I used) and it won't budge when
properly set. You can get Sikaflex from ebay for 9 quid. These covers are NOT sold with Sikaflex.
Perfect for those who have aftermarket intakes and wish to improve the appearance of their
engine bays.
I'm rocking one of these badboys and several members have bought and fitted them too. Everyone
that has seen them will agree that it looks very nice.
If you want to paint the cover, I recommend the brushed finish one as it's easier to paint.
You can buy in confidence from me. I'm well known on this forum, in person to it's chairman
AquilaEagle, two moderators MB and Lovegroova as well as several long standing members.

New stock in!
Will be posting out covers on Friday morning and updating people with postage receipts.
I expect the currently available covers to go pretty quickly so if you want one let me know.

Another for Kim
I sent my cash Wednesday evening and had the cross member cover Friday morning. Kim went to the trouble of PM'ing me updates including proof of shipping. The cover itself is very nice, and will look really nice in my engine bay.

Bought one of these at JAE from Kim. Top bloke, and the covers are a very good quality in finish and construction. Definately worth the money to brighten up the engine bay!
I wouldn't worry about the weight, unless you're trying to shave 1/1000th of a second off your lap time at asda car park! Or you're thinking of entering your car into the grand prix next week!
