What is the perfect vehicle to pair with your S2000?

So you have one of the best sports cars of the modern age – the S2000 – but there are times when you need something else to fill the few gaps the S doesn’t cover.  Maybe it is a large vehicle to haul family and things, maybe you just need something to take the abuse from salted roads and dense city traffic.  Maybe you just want a different toy – the reasons are many, but the solution is a second thing to drive.

Personally, I have a rather large SUV for the coverage.  When I have a cross-country slog on interstates, or need to take family or friends out for a night on the town, having something with full size comfort and luxury amenities is crucial.  No, neither my S nor the SUV gets great gas mileage, but I’ve always put enjoyment over economy in my vehicular priorities list.  I guess I’m just lucky that gas is trending toward a dollar a gallon these days…
