2000 GPW with red 165k~ Tucson / San Diego

End of an era! Bought in 2003, I’m the second owner. Some of you may remember me and this car from San Diego/Poway.

I moved to Tucson 10 years ago. The S2000 is the best car I’ve ever owned. EVER. This car has been nothing but loved for the past 13 years and I wish it to continue being taken care of by a fellow enthusiast, so I’ve come back to S2ki to give you first right of refusal!
As far as S2000s go, this one is basically stock:
• AP2 wheels (I also have the original wheels for sale if interested)
• Spugen cat-back exhaust. Both mufflers have been replaced (new) because they had been rattling
• Comptech (CARB legal) carbon airbox with new reusable foam filter
• New (2 year old) Robbins canvas soft top with glass window (exponentially better than stock!)
• Aftermarket air dam, which could use a new coat of paint (donated some paint to curb)
• Red leather center console cover (like all later models have)
• Hitch installed, it's black and discreet - but you can put a bike rack on without touching the paint on the car
• Wiring installed and available for trunk mounted sub-woofer (woofer not included)
• Infinity speakers in the doors
• New battery with warranty
All maintenance has been done either by me or a trusted shop. I have a file of all the service records for the past 13 years.
It has no known mechanical issues, having just gone through an inspection (papers available upon request). This car is still a dream to drive, incredible after this many years - a testament to Honda, and a good owner
There are some character marks! The seats are worn but not torn, there’s a ding on the driver’s door and on the rear 3/4 panel, the front bumper/air dam have chips, scratches, etc… Hey, it’s a 16 year old car!
Why in the world would I sell this car? Well, it’s taken me over a year to finally do it after thinking I should sell it! Life has changed a lot, the car only gets driven once a week and I’m not in a position to keep it any longer. Someday I know I’ll be on here looking to buy another S2k
I still come to San Diego quite often to visit family and am willing to bring the car out for the buyer if you’re in SoCal.
