I will find the guy who bought the lpb for 19.6 so you can message him about it if you would like . patients is really the name of the game some people wait months or years to find the car they want, it may seem like an eternity but if its not what you really want you will never be happy with your purchase and will find some reason to sell it down the road. NFR-s2k- was the name of the guy that bought the lpb from chatt it had 39k miles and it sold for 19.6.
I only paid 18,200 for my lbp with 39k miles, so I think you've got the wrong person. And before I get a pm, no its not for sale unless someone wants to give me close to 30 with my hardtop and öhlins lol

Default Is this s2k worth it?

I'm looking at a 2003 Berlina Black S2000, 93k miles with 3 previous owners, it did have a front end collision back in 2004 price is $12000. Body and paint in great condition, top in good condition as well. Car is 2 hours away from me and I'm going to go look at it on Friday. What should I look for as far as checking out the frame for any damage? Much appreciated

Depending on your location I'd guess you could get an undamaged/fixed 2003 with the same mileage for the same price. These cars have no frame, of course, it's all one piece welded together with a few bolt on areas. Even in Ohio I don't have to drive 2 hours to look at several undamaged S2000s. Cars of this age normally need a full maintenance done after purchase just to make sure things are in order. Tires are frequently less than ideal and/or worn/mismatched. Add that to the purchase cost. Major changes made in 2004 to the chassis, wheels, engine, etc.

Accident could have be as minor as replacing only a bumper. Find out in full detail on the accident and don't let it steer you away. You could possibly use it to your advantage with negotiating on the car. Check for maintance and sometimes his/her word isn't enough. Take it to a shop and get it looked at for a peace of mind. Gl

I bought my black '03 with 88k miles for 10.3. It needed tires but the car had not been in an accident either.

wow. Where are all of you finding this type of deal? Everywhere I look anything under 100k miles & without an accident is like around 14K at least.

Thoughts on this car? it's a 2003 GPW with about 85K miles for $15K. All stock. 9/10 VINs (missing the rear bumper VIN). carfax says it was in an accident but no damage. not sure of a scenario where an accident would be reported without any damage? I'm guessing the "accident" happened in the rear bumper where the VIN is missing. But the rear bumper looks perfect. Maybe it was just repainted?
Added pics of the undercarriage and engine bay. Everything looks clean to me. I know the pics arent the greatest. But maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can chime in.

Sorry for the late reply, I took awhile to wait for a great deal to come up, the car did need work and new tires all around.

Seems just a tad high, hows the condition of the interior and exterior?

Exterior looks great. I would even say 8/10 only cause the soft top is showing its age. But I don't see any dings/dents, scrapes on the bumpers or on the underside of the bumpers.Tiny curb rash like an inch long on one of the wheels. Brand new tires (goodyear eagle?)
Interior looks good. It's tan/black. I would say 7/10. Normal wear for a 13 year old car i think.. No rips/tears in the seats. Bolsters are obviously flattened out a little. Carpet shows some dirt. Stock everything including radio. Really clean.

So I guess the price is on the high-range but acceptable. it's a dealer so thats what I kind of figured. As long as someone else doesnt come up with soemthing terribly flawed in the pics, I think I leaning toward getting it.
