ppl with Upgraded rear, and gears
The time has come for me to rebuild my diff. I am thinking on either rebuilding my rear (00) with Comptech diff, Different final drive, Kazz 1.5 LSD or getting a complete 04 rear with a different final drive installed. Any one know which will be stronger for FI?????
I would like to know what the S/C guys are running in terms of gears. I cannot decide if I want to get the 4.44 or the 4.57 gears. And I have never been in a S with a different final drive installed. Which is better for Comptech S/C. I would think that the 4.77 gears would not work well with the S/C. Justs seems that you would have to shift way to often. I would like to do everything that I can to strengthen the rear while it is out of the car. Once I get this rear built to handle some more power I will be getting new axels to handel up to 700 HP
I have not autocrossed my car yet but plan to in the future. Right now I just use the car for spirited driving on nice days. All of my mods are in my sig.
Thanks a lot in advance
Kenny
BTW I made a poll to make it easier on people that dont feel like replying
Thanks again
