Rising Tides

Low-mile Honda S2000s seem to emerge from the proverbial woodwork these days, as if folks were simply sitting on them as investments until the time was right. The time, it seems, is now perfect, as the price of pretty much everything has risen dramatically, and that includes desirable collector cars like this 15k-mile 2003 Honda S2000 that was recently up for grabs at Bring a Trailer.

Patience Pays Off

This Berlina Black S2000 has made the rounds in recent years, as it was previously listed for sale on BaT just last year, but apparently remained with the current owner, who originally purchased it back in 2015. Last time around, bidding only reached $30k and the car didn't meet reserve, but waiting a year means that the seller managed to make a cool $36,500 on the car.

Stock and Wonderful

The triple-black S2000 certainly looks to be worth the price, given the fact that it's virtually flawless in every way. There are no flaws to note on the exterior, which has been left bone stock and still sports its factory wheels wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position tires that are sized at 215/45 in the front and 245/40 in the rear.

Minor Wear

The same goes for the gorgeous black interior, which only has some wear on the driver's side seat bolster and pretty much not other signs that it's ever been used. The leather and plastic that adorns the cabin is otherwise perfect in every way, and looks like brand new.

Well Maintained

Pop the hood, and you'll find an equally pristine engine bay that presents as new, which is precisely what one would expect from such low mileage. The F20C powerplant has reportedly been maintained as it should be, with regular oil changes in spite of its low mileage.

Appreciating Asset

Overall, there isn't really much to nitpick here, as this stunning S2000 is about as good as they get. This time around, it also got the attention it deserved at auction, though a car like this is only likely to appreciate even more in the coming years.
