Fitting remote locking

That's good so am I right in thinking without the HP alarm there is still the immobiliser fitted from the factory that has a transponder in the key so it's not left totally unsecured ?
I still have the HP alarm fitted to mine but always fancied taking it out because of the many stories I have read on here about their reliability, even though mine works fine for now, with the car now being nearly 14 years old I fear it will only a matter of time till it fails, but like you I still want to be able to work the doors/boot remotely.

eSeM is correct, just needed holding down a touch longer.
Re' the immobiliser, I'm sure others know the answer for sure but as far as I know the car still has the factory immobiliser.
