Hi all,

I have committed to convert from my n/a days to turbo! My aim is to have everything all set by the end of this year by the latest.

I have a 1999 AP1 - and we are RHD down here in Oz.

My goal is 400-500whp.

So, recently I have just purchased this beauty as a new years present to myself:

Built motor which contains the following:
Block:
Laskey Racing Block
CP Pistons
Carrillo Rods
Darton Sleeves
ARP Headstuds
Brand New OEM Bearings
Micropolished crank

Head:
Ferrea Titanium Valves
Ferrea Titanium Dual Valve Springs
Ferrea Keepers
Ferrea Titanium Retainers
Port & Polished Head
Cometic Steel Head Gasket

Within the next 6-8 months, I will be getting the inline pro stage 2 street kit, which is what I think the best kit out there for us RHD drivers.

I also opt to get the r200 diff conversion kit from inline pro together with the above kit to save on some shipping.

My current set up has the following:

PWJDM intake
J's racing headers
Berks HFC
Greddy Ti-C dual exh.

I plan on selling off the intake, headers and possibly the old motor sometime throughout the journey to free up a bit of funds.

Anyways, let me know what you pro's think of the above!

Cheers

Did you by chance buy that engine from another Aussie s2ki member? I think he had a built motor on his N1500 SC setup.

Good luck! If it were me I would do the full blown Ford 8.8in rear end conversion, not the InlinePro R200.

Yeah that's right! I did purchase it off him. Do you know much about it?

Also, do you have any links/website to the above ford diff kit?

Cheers

I know nothing about it just that he had it on his car and wasn't happy with the HP numbers. I hope to god you have a reputable tuner you trust, as the S2ki community felt the tuner he used wasn't doing a good job.

I would call full blown, they offer more products for turbocharging S2000s than inlinepro, there turbo kits and fueling kits are extremely well known.

Hmmm... Im not sure if Full Blown make RHD turbo kits as far as I'm aware... I can't remember if I contacted them regarding this or not.

How do those who use FB's rear end kit rate it for reliability/longevity? It seems like a fantastic alternative as it is much cheaper than inline's and no need to convert the diff....

LJ is on vacation till the 23rd, I would wait till he's back and give him a ring, but IMO from what I've seen, ford 8.8 is far better than the r200

Great, thanks for the info guys, really appreciate it. I would want to get it all right the first go.

I have noticed now as well that there is a thread on 2nd gear giving up on our transmissions with ppl who are making similar power to my goal. Might also look into the v160 transmission to be safe.

I would concentrate on getting the HP numbers you want first. Then do the differential and trans later.
