Fun in the Sun Arizona Style

It’s time again for the Arizona S2000 community to host their annual “Southwest S2000s in the Sun” event. This coming weekend, more than 50 S2000s from around the Southwest (and beyond!) will gather in Avondale (near Phoenix) for a huge drive and meet. This event is sponsored by Az. Forum moderator walkabt and Earnhart Honda.

This year’s main event will start off on Friday evening with a pre-drive party, then move on to a Saturday drive and event at the dealership, a Saturday post-drive dinner/event and a Sunday brunch again.

The dealership will provide a barbecue lunch Saturday, there will be a DJ there, event t-shirts, a raffle will be held, and many vendors will be there as well. Beyond the raffle, there will be prizes for such things as: longest journey to the event, youngest participant, most knowledgeable owner and more…

Out of town guests will be staying at the Radisson Phoenix Airport North. Last year’s event was a huge success, and this year’s is expected to be even better. We’ll give you a full report on what transpired next week.
