I haven’t heard anything confirming or denying if this is a go. I’m going to book a room that can be canceled anyway. Hope to hear soon!

I reached out to my INDY contacts this Morning ( 3/11/19) to get an update. We are right at 4 weeks out and normally I have a solid confirmation at this point.... communication from INDY is slacking ( both last year and this year....)

Still no word from INDY....I hate lack of communication.... even more so when it involves 30 cars and +30 people that are counting on having good reliable and current info...

Yeah, this is bananas.

Of course, I work for the title sponsor (not exactly, different division), and they can't even get me tickets yet ("maybe later in the year"), so it seems like IndyCar ain't talking to anyone.

Just waiting patiently for confirmation before reserving a room. Thanks for your efforts in trying to make this happen again!

went to the top at Zoom to see if I can get an answer ASAP>
Will;
Mark Deppensmith here with the Honda S2000 group that participates in the driver intro/parade lap at ALGP.

I have been in contact with Ruthie( via txt and phone) but believe she might be overloaded begin that she is logistics for every race on the schedule and most likely is focused on TX coming up.
Last I heard back from her was Mid February with instruction to stand by for info.

My team of 30 cars is nervously standing by awaiting confirmation if we are going to be requested to participate this year.
Being that we are about 3 weeks away we need to start book rooms however my team waiting on a decision if we are a go for this year so they can book rooms.

I also need to let Allen Tacker know in the car coral if he needs to plan for our group; as our placement in the car coral is critical to ensure safe and expedited access to the track on race day with all the fans/spectators.

I have always receive very positive feedback post race on my teams professionalism, worry free participation, and desire for us to return the next year; I hope we will be able to continue the tradition of the S2000 group at Barber for 2019.

If like last year there is a decision to use the Honda Ridgeline; if you can give me enough warning I can line up members of my team ( that will be at the track regardless of our S2000 participation) to drive said Ridgeliens.

P.S I do not have a current email for Ruthie otherwise I would cc her on this email as well.

Pumped and ready for race day

Thanks for the follow up and your work Mark. I hope we get at least one more chance to do this great event. It has been a fun ride regardless of the outcome.
