Default Monthly Drives

With the success of the Rocket City Run, I figured our group may enjoy going on a monthly drive. I welcome any comments or suggestions. I think Sundays are still the best day to go, especially since I still work at the restaurant on Saturdays. I would like to make it a set weekend event. IE..every 3rd Sunday. I would also encourage a different route, choosen by different members each time. I look forward to your responses.

The idea sounds good, but with the Supermeet coming up in July and football season shortly after I don't know how many I would make.

As much as I love the idea, I think it will be hard for me to commit too. I think we could make a better attempt at getting out and driving together though. Maybe we could start a topicr to chime in on when we see a good weekend coming up and then gather interest at that time. I have the interest more than I do the time unfortunately.

This is not the best map of Hwy 281 & 49, but I could at least link to it. Here's where I'd like to go:

Unfortunatlely, if they caught me on this road they would probably put me under the jail.

Rob, this is the road from TGPR (little Talladega) to Cheaha State Park. I love scaring passengers on this road.

It has been years since I went to Cheaha, but I remember the roads quite well. I need to get back down that way soon. Maybe a little mini-meet?

Anyone up for a ride up to Nashville on Sunday the 23rd to have lunch with them? I think I may run up there, as it isn't that far. Let me know who wants to accompany me. Here is there thread.

If we're not having lunch with my in-laws, I'm game. It's normally every other Sunday, but Mother's day messed up the schedule. So I'll have to see how they want to sort it out. Jadess can't say no to raw oysters.

Really? I love them too! My whole family lives down on the gulf coast, and we buy them by the bushel from the oyster farms. I have thought about getting a bushel or two and have them bring it up, but didn't know enough people that like them. Now maybe I do!!
