Drum roll, please . . .
Our first ever Make-A-Wish Charity Car Cruise raised $405. If you were there, you know that we got drenched for half of the event, and had to shut down early. Despite the weather, 28 cars showed (7 S2000s) so $405 is a pretty good showing.
Special thanks to Superfunguy for donating the trophies, a very much needed tent, drinks, and more, and to Jumpy Guy for the DJ, generator, t-shirts, the magazine cover equipment we never got to use, and more. Also, Phil, who very graciously donated the money back to the cause after winning the 50/50. You guys are terrific. Many thanks to everyone who came early to help set up, and stayed thru the rain. What a great group we have. Aldo and I are both continually amazed at the S2000 community's dedication and generosity.
Anyone who wanted to support the cause but couldn't make it to the event can still donate by making your check out to Make-A-Wish and mailing it to:
Stacey Scalise
914 Whitewater Drive
Mars, PA 16046
I'll send the gift to Make-A-Wish in about a week or so.
Thanks!!!

How about a very SPECIAL thank you to Aldo and Denise for really stepping up to make this a great event. Their hardwork in organizing this event was truly spectacular. Everything was organized from signs to pre made packets and it made our event that much easier. Great job you two, can't wait till next year.

It was a great time, even with the rain. Just think what we could've done with nice weather!
I had fun, as always, with you guys. Misty enjoyed herself as well, even though Stacey was being a slave-driver . She thinks you are all great people, which is what I've been telling her.
Except for that Maury guy
