Default ACNA-NJ HPDE at Pocono Raceway May 2nd

The Audi Club - NJ Chapter is proud to announce our annual and very popular May HPDE at Pocono Raceway! On May 2nd, ACNA-NJ will host a 1 day HPDE utilizing two different configurations. In the morning participants will run the double infield configuration, and in the afternoon we will switch it up to the IMSA configuration. Registration is now open! For more information please see the registration link below.

We had such a good showing from the S2000 community at last year's Twilight Event, and are very excited to extend the invitation again.

If it's the same as the Twilight Event, integrated roll protection in the S2000 is OK however a broomstick test was enforced.

I have never been to the track and this looks like a good opportunity for me. I was reading the roll bar rule, both you and your instructors helmets have to be 2" below the "broom stick." How do you know how all your instructor will be?

Also does a hardtop negate the rule? Even a replica top such as a forbidden mugen rep?

Unfortunately the hardtop does not count as a structural component. But as long as you pass the broomstick test you will be ok, we can make sure you don't have a 6'5" instructor

I'm sorry guys if this disqualifies any of you but it is for your own safety and an insurance requirement from the Audi Club.

If you have any specific questions about tech requirements please don't hesitate to email us. You can email the Chief Instructor, Scott Lynn, at slynn@acna-nj.org, or the Tech Lead, Matt Guerra, at mguerra@acna-nj.org
