My wife Carmen has been in and out of the hospital for over a month. We now have her in the Cleveland Clinic where she has been diagnosed with leukemia. So far she is doing well with the treatment and will be in the hospital for 4 to 6 weeks.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and get well cards. The first round of chemo didn't do the job and she started the second chemo treatment Friday. It's looking more and more like she will require a bone marrow transplant.

Thank you for the update Sam. Keep the faith, Carmen is in good hands. I'm sure they wouldn't put her thru more chemo if there wasn't a reasonable chance of positive results. We're praying and pulling for her!

Carmen had her bone marrow transplant on Dec. 8 and was released from the hospital Dec 24, Doctors are saying that she is doing well and right where she should be at this time. Now the biggest concern is rejection.
