After looking further into it I found that the only thing I have is deleted PM's

I don't have any of my PM's from my inbox or sent folder.

Not a big deal for me, just a heads up.

BTW PM's are damn near instant had my wife send me a test message to see if I was actually looking in the wrong place

Hmm. Here's what I'm seeing in my PM area:

1) Two copies of every PM I've received. One with the normal subject line, and one with "Sent: <subject>". The latter version is apparently what would have been in the sender's Sent Items folder.
2) None of my Sent Items are present. (Presumably they're now in the recipients' Inboxes, just as their Sent Items are in mine??)
3) I don't seem to have a Sent Items folder at all. Was thinking it might get created if I send a PM, but I haven't tried yet since I don't want to spam anyone with a test message.
4) When I open any message in my Inbox ("My Conversations" box?), I have working radio buttons for Delete and Compose New, plus another that's grayed-out and says "You cannot reply".

Anyone else seeing the same things?

Do your messages have an X on the left pane? All mine and my wifes were all messages we already deleted. I had her send me a PM like I posted above and it seems to work fine, it just seems like everything that was in the dumpster got put in our in box but the in box and sent items never got pushed over.

1 & 2) yes. Same with me.

3) Since the new PM system is basically just going to exist in the form of private threads, I don't think there are plans to have a "sent" folder now. Everything will just be in the conversations folder.

4) Same here.

Mine weren't all deleted. Most of them were just sitting in my inbox before the upgrade. I'm actually not sure if I had any deleted ones come back or not. I don't have many PM's and usually don't delete them.

When trying to view a notificaiton that points to a status:

[#10229] We could not determine which message you were attempting to view.

Seems a little quicker this morning but that's probably because half the world is in bed.

I'm still unconvinced about all this new message tracking and post notification options ..... the speed seems to be load based, which would point towards something that has changed with the new software .... ^^ looks like a possible culprit.

On the PM side of things ......

New notifications should show up as what they are. A friend request OR a private message, not just '***** has started a new conversation with you.

PMs need to be organised by thread, otherwise you get 10 pages of stuff instead of the 1 page it really is.

After a bit of playing, I prefer the Mycontent pages to MyS2ki - it has more functionality although the post order and history is a little skewed.

How about when reading a topic that it gets marked as read? That doesn't work either.
