Default 2001 Black S2000 for sale

I have a 2001 Black/Black S2000 for sale. It has 9250 miles. Kelly Blue book says a car with average miles (37500) is worth $24,500. How much of a premium should I ask for the low miles?

If you sell on your own, you can expect to get $750 for a "mile add" but don't expect any add if you trade it in. Good luck with your sale.

So $25250 is what you would suggest.
Is anyone interested.

It's like selling anything else. If you're in no rush to sell, start high, throw a sign in the car or an ad in the paper. There are lots of folks out there that will pay top dollar for a well-kept car. I think it's quite realistic that you might get $24-25K, considering there are still some folks paying more than sticker for a new one. I've seen '04s at some dealers for $36K or more. We all know just by logging on to s2ki.com that we can get it for $31 - without even trying for a better deal. Just don't expect to get top $$ by posting on this site!

If you need to sell it quick, you'll have to go lower. Not everyone does their on-line research like the folks on the s2k site. (I never understood why people get so heavily criticized for trying to get the most they can for their cars - the more you get, the better it is for all of us!)

Sorry to hear you are selling, Punch!

My brother just bought a 2001 Spa Yellow with 18k on it with titanium shift knob, CD changer, full spoilers for $19,500. I wouldn't hold my breath for $25k.

Current listings on autotrader.com for Phoenix area MY2001 S2000 range from $17800 to $32000. $19,500 - that's scary, but glad he got a good deal.

I'm not saying he'll get $25K - but it's certainly not out of the question for a car lots of people buy because they like the way it looks.

too bad you werent selling it a few months ago, i paid 24k for my car. after everything i spent 25g's, but i think it was worth it, got the color i wanted, and only had 4900 miles. i think with those miles you should be able to get around 23k easily. plus going by bluebook isn't always what you should trust, they say the car should be worth that much, but if you go on autotrader, no one is selling it for bluebook price because it is ridiculous. the car is worth a lot more. it is about how much people want the s2000, not what bluebook says, that is what i think. it really depends, ive checked out some s2000's selling for around 20k, but the condition of those cars, and the sellers seem kind of sketchy, i would rather pay a little more extra, you get what you paid for, so just wait on it if you're in no hurry, im sure you will find a buyer.
