Default Anyone local have Wet Okole seat covers?

Well since the leather gets very hot and creates sweat I was thinking about purchasing a set of these for the S. I was thinking about doing a black /w dark blue. Anyone had any experinces with them?

Thanks,
Dan

I've got Wet Okoles and have found them to very comfortable, well fitting, and a pretty good color match for my red interior. If you're expecting them to be as cool as cloth, they're not, but they are a lot cooler than leather.

I am thinking about the Okoles also, but what about the necessity of treating the leather seats which are still going to get hot and possibly dry out, especially with the top down during the summer months ? Is it a pain to take off and put back on the Okoles?

It is a pain to install and remove the Wet Okoles, because you have take out the seats to do the install. The seats are just held in by four bolts, so the seats themselves aren't hard to take out. Just make sure to disconect the seat belt sensor wire underneath the driver seat when taking that seat out.

I should think that if you do a good Lexol treatment of the seats before the install, your seats should be good for the duration. That being said, my seat covers have been on for over two years, and I haven't looked underneath them yet. Maybe I should, but I'm sure I won't.

I think I'm going to order a set with the royal blue inserts. Hopefully the blue isn't too bright. Once they arrive I can post some pictures.

So my seat covers arrived today and I took a few pictures while I installed them. It was hot as a monkey's uncle and it was making me sweat like a madman, but I got it done without heat stroke.

Ahhh, preparing for the install!

The packaging.

Seats out.

Passenger side in.

Both seats in

Agian.

That's it. Tommorrow I expect my new exhaust to arrive so I will try and take some pictures of that, and maybe a video of the sound.
