If i buy an s2k and register is and stuff are their emissions requirements here do i have to get it tested or whatever they do? Basically, what all fees and about how much do you think im going to have to pay after purchasing the s2k?

 

The emissions test consisted of plugging their computer into my vehicle's computer read out to see if it was operating within the design specs. This was a 1997 Toyota Avalon with 107,000 miles on it. Like you I was concerned about receiving a list of repairs to make it like new for emissions.

 

Do they do that at the DMV when you go to register?

 

This is commonly known as an ODBII check.
