Vortech!

Except no substitutes!

Best bang for the buck and reliable.
You just made milk come out of my nose.

Technically it was like 5,000 bucks and so far you've only gotten one bang out of it (the one where you lost 3 quarts of oil). J/K

HAHA... you guys are too funny.

go with UR turbo kits or FUll race turbo kits... if you want to to do turob.. but let me say that this motor is intended for non FI use. if you are goign to be running turbo then I strongly recommend that you go stand alone. that way you dont blow shit up

yeah, dont go blowing your motor up with boost! I would get your motor checked (leak down and compression) to see if your motor is healthy enough first, and a stand alone migh be your best option, especially with turbo.

thanks for the input. i'll probably dump some money on internals since i don't understand boosting a motor with anything less than 10 psi. coming from a FI crowd i want to see the boost gauge needle BURIED clockwise.

what kind of cost am I looking at? i was planning on a bill of around $10k if possible. this car is a daily driver that will do auto-x and road race on the weekends if I have the time.

Really though - does Vortech suck or blow? Is there really a difference?
