How many miles do you have on your clutch ?
Im guessing less than 20k? I installed a new AP2 trans about a year ago and everything in there was new, new PP, Friction disk, bearings, shims, nuts and bolts etc...

My clutch fuild was BLACK and pretty nasty, but the whole change took less than 10 minutes with a helper.

Engagement is much better now, but the engagement seems still alittle odd, like its almost early from what im used to.

Hmm not totally sure, I just go by the pedal feel and the coloration in the resivoir. If its black, I usually change it.

Is this what can usually be expected by Eanrhardt's?
They used to be pretty good when I had my old S2K, dependable anyway. If you don't have the expertise to work on your own car, what do you do? Just bend over and write checks?
Or does that not happen on the forum?

We have tech-days Mudchick, we save thousands of dollars in labor by spilling fluids all over Brandon's driveway!

I mean, they have been good to me and done good work on the maintenance jobs I have let them do. I just get really pissy when outrageous and unreasonable numbers are thrown at me.

I have it in writing the valve adjustment quote and its LOL.

They gave me a free oil change the other day, I provided materials, so that was nice of them. I cant complain personally about the quality of the work, I just think they need to give us alittle KY or Vaseline for the jobs.

IMO tech days are still FTW!
