Default car broken into

got back from vacation to find my car all jacked up.

soft top cut open, seats, steering wheel, SUPERCHARGER, all gone.

scottsdale police wont even come out, they took a report over the phone.

Should I have the car towed to earnhardt? Really at a loss here.

I would like to know what kind of people you guys think did this. Do they even know what they are stealing? Or do they just go for what looks expensive?

In Michigan I never had to worry about crap like this, everyone respected you for having a nice ride. Now I'm scared to put anything worth $$ on my car.

Robert,
that really sucks..

Blax,
cuz this happens ALL the time....

Robert,
how long did you go on vacation for?? also why didnt you park it in the garage or in someones driveway?? dude that really really sucks that happened.

if they took the supercharger I'm thinking it was a targeted hit. they must have had some seriuos time or privacy to take the timne to take the supercharger. Our cars get broken into all the time for the seats and the steerign wheel.

You need to see what your insurance covers.... if they are willing to cut you a check, tow it to SoS and get a aftermarket goodies.... I guess its time for a hard top.

Holy Crap!!!

Man, I would blow a gasket!

Problem with insurance is sometimes if you haven't declared new items (rims, blower, stereo, etc) they won't cover more than the damage to a stock car. Hope your insurance isn't that way. To just get that blower and have it yanked, I would be steamed!

Good luck!

I'm trying to stay cool, and not flip out. I called my insurance company before the s/c was installed, so they have prior knowledge of it. Getting the car towed to earnhardt this morning, David said they are going to take care of me, I haven't talked to Chris at SoS yet, but i'm sure they'll do the same. Just waiting to hear from my insurance company now.

There are some player hating fools out here. It definitly had to be scoped out to be able to take the sc out when you just got it installed. Hope you get takin care by your insurance co. This is realy sucks!
