That seriously sucks! I can't see a big black market in town for that stuff. So you left a car like that outside??! Garage was not an option? Should have told me, I'd let you park it at in my garage.

How detailed was the SC removal? Just the module or did they take all the bits (FPR, Brackets, pullys, AC, piping, etc..). Will give you a good idea of where it will end up and who took it. If they took all the bits it will likely show up as an S2000 kit on ebay or the likes. If you have the serial number off the blower unit - let us know and we will all watch out for it.

Make sure you post the situation in the FI forum and the FS forums - more eyes looking the better.

 

They only took the blower and the A/C. I found the bolts and mounting plates like 10ft away from the car. They cut anything connecting to the unit, fuel lines, wiring, hoses.

You should post any serial numbers you know so we can look out for your stuff. Total BS. The fact that your sc was just put in makes this a little suspect. I wouldn't think a car thief would take the time to steal that unless they knew about it in advance and already had a buyer, or have a use for it themselves.

Shit like this is why I think about just driving a beater 24/7. People just can't stand to leave your nice things alone. They always have to steal/vandalize/ding/scratch everything.

 

Damn....another reason why Im glad I left Arizona. Gotta love the cops there. After being robbed, ($10k+ worth of electronics, my DOG, etc.) NOTHING. Good luck, I hope something comes up for you.

I agree on the S/N part. Contact comptech and ask for the S/N of the unit you purchased if you can't locate it. At least they will know if someone asks for a part and they ask for the serial number...

Yup. We know who did it too, EVERYTHING pointed to him (ex-roommate) but the cops couldnt........DIDNT do shit about it. "O, we cant seem to get a hold of him." Funny, considering I gave them where he worked, his number, his MOM's number, and o yeah....the fact that he was in the classroom RIGHT NEXT TO ME!!!

A friend of mine got his car jacked and tried to sell a bunch of stuff on ebay. Thats how they caught him. I would check it out. It would look funny if someone tried to sell a standalone supercharger with no hardware.
