Just wondering. I'd much rather support the local community instead of some Joe Shmoe's muffler shop. LMK.

Per the website:

All of our mufflers are made with SUS304 stainless steel, 1mm thick wall material is used for main pipe. and the 0.8mm wall stainless is used for main silencer. This combination of materials creates a super light weight system. Moreover with the included bolt in silencer installed, the SPEC III exhaust system meets most legal sound levels for day to day street use.

What is actually broken? Are they just cracked/broken pipes off of the muffler?

Yeah, just broke at the welds. On one, the center hanger broke. The other completely separated from the flange where it mounts to the cat.
