Default Economy not bad for Nissan

My friend was looking for a new car and we stopped by Nissan among other Stealerships and there was a loaded 370z convertible for 47K

At that price I'll go buy a Lotus or C6

Well dealerships will go ahead and post a high price because every now and then someone will actually go out and pay sticker price. A friend of a friend bought a brand new Chevy Cobalt for something like 23k (OTD) some 2 years ago and it wasn't even the SS version.

And he was pretty happy about the "great deal" he got too.

The 47k included the Automatic Pansy shifter with Navi In fact there were 5 models on the lot and all of them were automatic.

Convertibles start at 43k which I find rather ridiculous. I suspect the car is much better than the older 350's but I just can't see a z over 40k.

I'm sure someone is buying them .. then again maybe not.

If I were gonna spend 47k on a new car I'd take a C6. I <3 the new ones. A black one. (I work at Watson Chevy in Tucson).

Edit! G37 Convertible or Lotus Elise
