Default Fedex?

Been waiting for a very important package to come fedex ground, one that requires a signature in person. Today was the last day they would try to deliever, so Jen stayed home from work to recieve it. She waited all day.....no package! Around 4pm she starting calling fedex to find out what was going on. 10pm rolls around, 7-8 phone calls later......no package. No one at fedex can tell us where the package is and why we never recieved it.

When we call at 9pm, get this, the person on the phone told us the truck was still out delievering packages......BULLSHIT! Call back at 10pm and talk to another person, she said the truck checked in at 6pm.

We asked to speak to a supervisor and were told we'd need to contact the Local Fedex office and talk to them.......call them up and they can't even find the package.

What a joke, I work in customer service.......maybe that makes me alittle sensetive to these kind of situations, but damn has Fedex dropped the ball here.

Damn that sounds terrible. But then again you are dealing with a world wide company that deals with over thousands of people a day so I would expect issues like this from fedex. Still no exception for what kind of service you received. Sorry bro

DHL was worse...

Driver lied and told his supervisor he'd attempted delivery, already a day late by this point so I called. I was home all day, no truck/van came by. His supervisor didn't believe me when I told her such was the case, I had to explain that there wasn't even a note on the door about an attempted delivery and then she acted all put out that the driver had to return to deliver a package that was already a day late.

I've always had bad luck with FedEx, DHL or UPS FTW

Spent almost an hour on the phone this morning, trying to get this all worked out.

End Result - THEY HAVE NO FREAKING IDEA WHERE THE PACKAGE IS!

Now waiting on a callback from a "regional manager"

I have to say I've had the least issues with FedEx.
Just have to make sure you declare the value of whatever you're shipping correctly in case this happens. Hopefully they will reimburse you if they don't find the package.

UPS has stepped up their tracking though. I noticed the dispatch can now contact the drivers quickly for location/time/return.
