Nice progress. Once we get a confirmation from Superstition Honda and set a date the rest will be so much easier to get organized.
Just my opinion here but I like the idea of keeping it exclusive to S2000's.
Route 1 looks good. Past events the drive has been advertised as a "parade" drive, no crazy speeding. We set out in color groups, separated by 15 minutes I think. It worked well. No accidents that I can remember.
Earnhardt paid for the tables grill etc last time IIRC. Everyone paid $25-30 to attend I think. That included a t shirt and admission to the bbq and drive. The other side events were a la carte and varying amounts of people attended. We haven't used a lift at all at past events. We had tables set up in the service bays since the AZ sun is still stupid hot in March.
I like the Sunday breakfast run idea.
Are there hotels/nightlife near the dealership? I don't know that area well. We should try to keep everything pretty close together if at all possible for out of towners.

This site lets you look at historical weather dates too. So if you wanted to see what a day was like in each of the previous past three years you could do that
We definitely don't want rain
Here is an example

i would prefer it to be in the very first weekend of March.
Another idea....NOPI Nationals are at FIR in Phoenix March 15 - 16. I contacted the Marketing department and they said they would be very interested in doing something for us is we had 50+ cars. No definition of what "something" is, but we could ask fo discount entrance fee or perhaps just a sponsorship. There is a drift event and car show, no drag race this event. What do you think, should I continue conversing with said Marketing person or is this totally out of our strategy?
nopi is a little... i don't know... just doesn't fit. personally, i wouldn't enjoy going to see old ass civics with more money in them than a brand new cr... but thats just me. i don't think people would like to pay just to come out and pay to go to a car show/race event. more smaller personal i think is what would be good.
